Voice Analyst
Voice Pitch and Volume Analyzer
This tool has been a huge key to keeping me interested and helping me evaluate how well I am doing while practicing. It provides a visual tool that measures both pitch and volume. I use one or the other depending on what I’m practicing.
My therapist has me holding a note for as long as possible. A good measurement is supposed to look something like this
She calls this a ”Maximum Phonation” and I do ten each practice session.
Next is “Pitch Change – Up” and I do ten each practice session.a
Then there is “Pitch Change – Down” ten of these.
Not only do you see the the measurement in a graph, but you also get numbers that help you quantify the levels that your voice hit. You can save the files that include the measurements and a recording of the event. This is great to see and hear your progress. You can share the files and rename the folders too.
