I have been listening to a podcast lately “When Life Gives You Parkinson’s”, hosted by Larry Gifford. The podcast is very good and very relevant. His life and experiences seem to parallel mine often.. It is very helpful to hear the thoughts and path that another person with YOPD (Young-Onset Parkinson’s Disease) is taking. Today I was listening about all of the nonmotor symptoms of Parkinson’s; a friend of the host suggests to those that ask “How are you feeling? “a YouTube video to learn more about the symptoms of the disease they can’t see. Here is the YouTube: https://youtu.be/S2LP_5PC9LU, you can share from there.

I think it’s a great idea!

In other news; today was the 1st day of school for my youngest.

He is a senior, in high school!! Crazy!! They grow up way too fast.

However; last year on the 1st day of school, I didn’t get out of bed to take pictures as normal, but this year not only did I get out of bed,

I followed him around the house as he got ready. It nice to mother way I want to.

My mobility is still limited, but I can still get around! And what an improvement!!

Thanks to everyone on my care team that work so hard to keep me successful!

What a beautiful post Windy! It’s so good to be able to look back and see how far you’ve come. ♥️ Great information as always too. How in the world did my boy get to be a senior?!?! XOXOXO
