I lost 6 pounds and feel great. My pants feel better, my body looks better, and my energy is up. This has been a good reminder about portions and controlling what goes in. I am going to stick to the workouts and Shakeology. I love knowing that I’m getting all the nutrients my body needs to stay strong, and I don’t have as many cravings and such. It’s amazing what the body will do when provided with the right balance of nutrition.
I am so excited because this week my physical therapist gave me a new exercise that will help with movement, walking, and balance and I feel confident doing it.
On the Parkinson’s side of things; a weird thing happened to me this week. I was at my mom’s and I was not walking real great.
I felt like my body was twisted and I had a hard time standing up or feeling straight, I thought I was leaning off to the right. I had my mom take a picture of me to show my doctor, in good terms, how my body reacts at times.
And then to my surprise, I looked completely straight and fit in the picture! There goes that Parkinson’s brain, you just can't beleive it!!
Fight it people! Don’t let Parkinson’s rule the day, take control!
