It takes a village… That is what I have always said, but I didn’t know how true that would be for my life...
I am a mother of two teenage boys, a succulent collector and an informal foodie, I like to run and hike, any reason to be outdoors. Picnics, amusement parks, or bike rides… Count me in! I also make jewelry from beads, believe in natural remedies, fermented foods and anything homemade I can do. I bring solutions to problems; that’s just how I contribute, I like to make life better for the ones I love. Did I mention that I LOVE Amazon??
I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2013, at the ripe old age of 41. It has progressed faster than expected, but then everybody’s journey is different. For the last couple of years, life has been pretty much about Parkinson’s but that has to change. I will celebrate life, figure out modifications, and live my life to the fullest!!
It is with a brave face, strong will, and open-heart that I will tackle life’s challenges that never seem to stop. With my family, great friends, and doctors I will live out loud! It takes a village, and with the village’s help, I will make each step undaunted.
